10 things you should consider in your life journey in 2020

Ok, so you’ve reviewed your life in 2019 and that’s all behind us now and you probably set your goals for 2020 and beyond – great! But before you really get excited and run off to the gym to get rid of all the food you had over the last 4 weeks, I thought I’d share 10 things you should consider thinking about this year

  1. Love your self a bit more, nobody knows you like you do. Don’t be too self critical.
  2. Hard times don’t last, tough people do – keep walking and stop feeling sorry for yourself, rise above your circumstances.
  3. Do the things you hate to do, on the other side there is greatness, success and significance
  4. Reflect on your life – everyday. Analyse how your day went, whether you achieved what you set to achieve for the day, meeting, month etc…
  5. Don’t advertise your problems on social media – 80% of the people don’t care and the rest of the 20% are silent celebrants – be deeper with real people and know your real friends are not the likes on social media.
  6. Have a super positive attitude, be enthusiastic about life. Start from the inside-out, usually lasts longer when you dig deeper within your core and be honest about you.
  7. Don’t let others fill in your WHY, they will drive your bus to a disastrous destination. You are the master of your destiny, don’t let others tell your story.
  8. Take responsibility of where your life is now, take action and stop the excuses – the weather, economy, politicians and the government will always be there.
  9. Learn something new everyday either in an area of interest or area of skill – your life depends on how your growth trajectory is getting curved – i personally don’t go to sleep until I learn something new either in an area of interest or skill.
  10. Get back to fundamentals in everything in your life – preparation, attention to detail and execution for results through focus and hard work.

I am pretty sure you have many others, please add them in the commentary below, Iron sharpens Iron.
